Then look at the core requirements of floor heating pipes: first, high temperature resistance (long-term exposure to 40-50 ° C hot water), second, creep resistance (no deformation under underground concrete pressure), third, thermal conductivity (efficient heat transfer), and fourth, environmental protection (no release of harmful substances). In contrast, PE-RT perfectly matches these requirements: sufficient temperature resistance, strong creep resistance, thermal conductivity meets the requirements of floor heating, and the raw materials are food grade. Heating will not release harmful substances such as formaldehyde. What's more practical is that the PE-RT pipe has excellent flexibility, allowing it to easily bypass ground pipelines, beams, and columns when laying floor heating, reducing the number of joints and reducing the risk of water leakage. The price is also cheaper than stainless steel pipes and copper pipes, and the cost performance is very high. However, there are several "red lines" that cannot be touched when choosing PE pipes for floor heating: first, you must choose PE-RT pipes, don't be greedy for cheap to buy ordinary PE pipes - ordinary PE pipes may be fine in the short term, and there will definitely be problems in the long term. At that time, the cost of floor maintenance can be much higher than the money saved; second, the construction should be standardized: the distance between the pipes should be controlled at 15-20cm (adjusted according to the heat load of the room), and fixed firmly with nails to avoid the displacement of the pipes; third, after installation, you must do stress testing: hit the pressure of 0.8-1 MPa, and keep the pressure for 24 hours without falling off to be qualified; fourth, the water temperature should not exceed 60 ° C during use - even if the PE-RT has high temperature resistance, long-term overheating will shorten the life.
