Core specification adaptation scenario
In the procurement of local gas projects in Wuhan, DN110 and DN160 are the mainstream specifications for the wholesale of PE gas pipes. The DN110 specification is suitable for the branch pipe network of urban residential areas, the gas supply supervisor of merchants along the street, and the internal gas transmission lines of small parks, and the gas transportation capacity can cover the daily use needs of 300-500 households; the DN160 specification is mostly used for the transmission pipelines of the main urban area sub-trunk pipe network, the gas supervisor of large industrial plants, and the suburban connection backbone network, which is suitable for the large-flow natural gas transmission needs, and meets the procurement needs of the expansion of Wuhan's new urban area and the transformation of the old pipeline network.
Selection core reference standard
Purchasing PE gas pipes requires priority to confirm that the product meets the requirements of the special national standard for gas transportation, has good stress cracking resistance, low temperature corrosion resistance, and is suitable for the climate characteristics of Wuhan in summer and winter, as well as the complex acid-alkali soil environment of the underground pipe network. The normal buried service life can reach 50 years, which is much higher than the corrosion resistance cycle of traditional metal pipes. No additional anti-corrosion treatment is required, which can greatly reduce the maintenance cost of the later project.
Construction and installation precautions
The hot melt docking process is preferred for the construction of DN110 and DN160PE gas pipes. The docking temperature needs to be controlled in the range of 210-230 ° C. The docking pressure and cooling time need to strictly meet the process requirements to avoid virtual welding leakage points. During backfilling operations, fine sand needs to be filled around the pipe to avoid sharp objects such as masonry scratching the pipe wall. The burial depth needs to meet the specification requirements of not less than 0.6 meters under the sidewalk and not less than 0.9 meters under the motor vehicle lane. After the construction is completed, an air tightness test needs to be done as required to confirm that there is no leakage before delivery.
