The suburban wetland is an important ecological buffer zone in the city, which has the functions of water purification, biological habitat and leisure viewing. Anti-seepage drainage is the core link to ensure its ecological stability. Steel bellows have become an ideal choice for this scene due to their high strength, corrosion resistance and excellent anti-seepage properties.

The plan first focuses on type selection and adaptation: according to the water level drop and displacement requirements of different areas of the wetland, steel belt bellows with corresponding ring stiffness and diameter are selected to ensure that the pipes can withstand the soil pressure and water load of the wetland, and at the same time meet the daily drainage and flood discharge needs during heavy rains.

The laying process needs to be strictly controlled: first, the foundation treatment of the laying area is carried out, and a 15-20cm thick sand cushion is laid to avoid sharp and hard objects from damaging the pipe; socket connection is adopted, and special rubber sealing rings are provided at the interface to ensure tight sealing; when laying, a slope of 2-3 per cent is set according to the terrain to ensure smooth drainage.

Anti-seepage treatment is a key link: the outside of the pipe interface is coated with environmentally friendly anti-seepage paint to enhance the sealing performance; the pipeline is seamlessly connected with the anti-seepage film and geotextile around the wetland to form a complete anti-seepage system to prevent water leakage from causing abnormal groundwater levels and avoid wetland ecological imbalance.

Drainage system design combines ecological needs: using a zoned drainage model, independent drainage branches are set up for wetland shoals, planting areas, and core waters, and rainwater collection is combined with ecological water replenishment functions, which not only effectively discharges excess stagnant water, but also rationally regulates wetland water levels and maintains ecological balance. This scheme can effectively ensure the seepage prevention and drainage effect of suburban wetlands, improve ecological stability, and provide reliable support for suburban wetland construction.
