Huanggang old community upgrade, PE pipe optimization community water supply pipeline laying work

With the progress of urban renewal in Huanggang, the upgrading of old community water supply pipelines has become a key work for people's livelihood. In this upgrade work, the construction team selected PE pipes as the core material for the optimization of water supply pipelines. PE pipes have excellent corrosion resistance, can adapt to the complex underground soil environment, and effectively avoid the drawbacks of traditional pipes that are prone to corrosion. At the same time, they are flexible and can be flexibly laid according to the existing terrain of the community, reducing damage to pavements and green belts, and adapting to construction scenarios with limited space in old communities.

During the laying process, the construction personnel first accurately surveyed the original pipeline layout of the community, and re-planned the pipeline direction according to the residents' water needs to ensure a scientific and reasonable layout. The hot-melt connection process is used for pipe splicing to ensure that the interface is tightly sealed and reduce the risk of later leakage. After the laying is completed, the water pressure test and water quality test are also carried out one by one to ensure that the water supply is stable and the water quality is up to standard.

By optimizing the laying of water supply pipelines with PE pipes, the water supply problems in the old community of Huanggang have been effectively improved, the leakage rate has been greatly reduced, and the safety and comfort of residents' water has been significantly improved, which has laid a solid foundation for the livability and upgrading of the old community.
