Previously, some township water supply pipe networks had problems such as aging materials, high leakage rates, and insufficient water supply stability, making it difficult to meet the growing demand for drinking water in rural areas. PE water supply pipes have excellent corrosion resistance and can adapt to the complex geological environment of rural areas, avoiding the erosion of soil acid and alkali components on the pipeline; their good flexibility is convenient for flexible laying in mountainous and hilly terrain, reducing construction difficulty and cost; at the same time, the smooth inner wall of the pipe has little water flow resistance, which can ensure water supply efficiency and reduce energy consumption.
In the Hubei rural drinking water quality improvement project, the construction team relied on PE water supply pipes to build a water supply network through towns and villages, replace old pipelines, extend water supply branches, and achieve full coverage of water supply to households. This not only effectively reduced the leakage rate of the pipe network, but also improved the water supply pressure and water quality stability, so that the people in remote villages can also use safe and convenient tap water.
With the wide application of PE water supply pipes in township water supply networks, the rural drinking water security capacity in Hubei has been significantly improved, which has injected a solid driving force for rural revitalization and raised the quality of life of rural people to a new level.
