Xiaogan suburban community renewal, drainage pipe supporting contiguous old renovation project landing construction

Due to the long-term construction of many old communities in the suburban area of Xiaogan, the original drainage pipe network has problems such as small pipe diameter, aging material, and unreasonable layout. Partial waterlogging is prone to occur in the rainy season, which affects the daily travel and living experience of residents. With the progress of the renewal of suburban communities, the old renovation project of the drainage pipe supporting piece was officially implemented.

According to the working conditions of the suburban community, the old renovation project selects plastic drainage pipes with both corrosion resistance, settlement resistance and drainage efficiency to adapt to the actual situation of the suburban soil environment and high land subsidence risk. The construction team combined the existing building layout and topography of the community to replan the direction of the drainage pipe network, optimize the slope and diameter configuration of the pipe network, and ensure smooth drainage.

During the construction process, the operators strictly followed the plastic pipeline construction specifications, accurately completed key processes such as grooving, pipeline laying, and interface sealing, and at the same time did a good job in the connection transformation of the old pipe network to avoid the problem of poor connection between the old and new pipe networks. For some narrow roadways, small construction equipment was used to reduce the interference to residents' daily travel.

The current project is progressing in an orderly manner according to plan. After completion, the old drainage facilities will be fully replaced, effectively solving the hidden dangers of community waterlogging, improving the stability and reliability of the drainage system, providing a solid drainage guarantee for the renewal of suburban communities, and helping to upgrade the quality of residents' living environment.
