Wuhe Municipal Railway Supporting, Power Sheathed Pipe Laying Along the Pre-embedded Pipeline Project

As an important cross-city transportation hub connecting Wuhan and Ezhou, the stability of its power supporting system is directly related to the safety and efficiency of railway operation. The laying of power sheathed pipes and the pre-embedded pipeline engineering along the line are one of the core links.

In the implementation stage of the project, it is first necessary to accurately delineate the direction and depth of the buried trench in combination with the geological conditions along the railway line and the power line planning, so as to ensure that the pipeline layout not only meets the power transmission requirements, but also avoids the main structure of the railway and other municipal facilities. The plastic power sheath pipe has become the preferred pipe material for this project due to its excellent insulation, corrosion resistance and lightweight characteristics. It can not only effectively protect the internal cable from soil corrosion and external extrusion, but also reduce the construction difficulty and speed up the project progress.

During the construction process, the standardized process is strictly followed: the foundation needs to be leveled and tamped after the trench is excavated to avoid settlement and deformation of the sheathed pipe; the special sealing interface is used during the splicing of the sheathed pipe to ensure that the waterproof performance meets the standard; after the laying is completed, the layers are backfilled and compacted, and the pipeline identification is done at the same time to provide convenience for later operation and maintenance. In addition, the project also coordinates the laying of other pre-embedded pipelines along the line to achieve the orderly arrangement of various pipelines, avoid cross-interference, and improve space utilization.
