In terms of sealing, the carat pipe is often sealed by socket electric fusion welding or rubber ring, and the interface and the pipe body are melted into one, which can achieve zero leakage; the steel belt corrugated pipe is mostly sealed with heat shrinkage tape or socket, and the connection is greatly affected by the construction method, which needs to be strictly controlled. In terms of hydraulic characteristics, the inner wall of the carat pipe is smooth, the Manning coefficient is low, and the transportation resistance is small; the steel belt corrugated pipe has a trough structure. Although the inner layer is smooth, the overall hydraulic performance is In terms of construction adaptability, carat pipes are relatively light in weight, have good toughness, and have strong resistance to uneven settlement of foundations; steel bellows are more sensitive to backfill compactness and large particle size hard objects due to the existence of steel belts, and need to be refined for construction. When selecting types, they should be comprehensively considered in combination with burial depth, geological conditions, load requirements and sealing grade.
