In the preliminary preparation stage, it is necessary to accurately calculate the diameter, length and laying direction of the steel belt bellows in combination with the drainage design parameters of the side ditches of the expressway. At the same time, hoisting equipment, qualified sealing rubber rings, tamping tools and other materials are prepared to check the geological conditions of the construction section in advance to ensure that the construction conditions meet the standards.
The trench excavation needs to strictly follow the design depth and slope requirements. The bottom of the side trench needs to be flat and compacted. In case of soft soil layer or quicksand area, a 10-15cm thick crushed stone cushion layer needs to be laid to strengthen the foundation to avoid the later settlement and deformation of the pipeline from the root. During the excavation process, temporary drainage diversion measures should be taken synchronously to prevent the trench from accumulating water and softening the base, which will affect the construction quality.
When installing the pipeline, special lifting equipment is used to smoothly lift the steel belt corrugated pipe, and it is strictly forbidden to directly drag the outer wall of the pipeline to cause damage. Before docking, it is necessary to carefully clean up the debris and burrs at the nozzle, and apply the sealing rubber ring evenly with lubricant into the nozzle groove to ensure that the interface is accurately aligned and then pushed slowly, so that the rubber ring is evenly embedded in the interface gap to ensure that the sealing effect meets the drainage requirements. Pipeline laying needs to ensure that the overall slope is consistent with the drainage flow of the ditch to avoid inverted slope affecting the drainage efficiency.
The backfill process needs to be carried out in layers and sections. First, use delicate soil to backfill both sides of the pipeline to 30cm at the top of the pipe, and use a small tamper to tamper layer by layer, and the compactness needs to reach more than 90%; then backfill the upper layer of earth, and the thickness of each layer is controlled within 30cm, and the layer by layer is tamped and reinforced. When backfilling, it is strictly forbidden to use hard objects such as sharp stones and frozen soil blocks to prevent scratching the outer wall of the pipeline.
After the construction is completed, it is necessary to carry out a closed water test and a drainage function test to check that the pipeline interface is free of leakage and the drainage is unobstructed. At the same time, check whether the pipeline laying location, slope and other parameters meet the design standards to ensure that the highway side ditch drainage system can stably cope with extreme weather such as flood season.
